Following otje's example I decided to contact all managers playing in 1337.be and write an article about it.

We start with some general information about the different teams playing this season in 1337.be.

As you can see, one of the clans is banned. JdIF who was a contender for the top5 decided last season to rebuild, but instead of being able to complete his rebuild he got banned. All other clans seem to be active non rebuilding clans.

When we look @ the avg age of each team we only see one very young team managed by KeaRzooOCh'. Together with Zuttasoxx they were the only managers not reaching 60k at the start of this season. We also notice that there aren't any high talented teams present, besides shindao. Also stamina doesn't seem to be important.

Now that we have all the basic stats available we can see how close in value and skillpoints many clans are. But looking at the current league standings, those positions don't correspond with the positions they a team should have according to his value.

We all know skills don't say everything. Therefore we're gonna take a closer look to the skills that matter meaning: aim, handling, quickness, determination and awareness.

From this table we see that some of the managers with high valued teams only have a low number of skillpoints in those 5 skills. Stampers and El_Thierro, both having over 70k value but battling in the lower regions of 1337.be clearly haven't a lot of important skills. While KeaRzooOCh' whose team doesn't even has 60k still has an average of 445 top5 skillpoints. This might explain some of the results he has been making. Zuttasoxx who's performing extremely well according to the value of his team has an average quickness and awareness over 95, which probably explains some of his results. Currently training those other 3 skills his team will be godlike in only a few seasons.

Stoffer his team who's placed 2nd at this moment currently leads the top5 skills while value-wise his team is only in the lower regions of the league.

Shindao who still has the first place combines a good total of top5 skillpoints together with a high value. Currently he only lost points against Stoffer (draw on aztec).

Next is some usefull data collected about all managers:

From this last table we see that most of the players in 1337.be started in season 1. Kevintjaah who's playing extremely well considering his team only started 6 seasons ago. hatrix and Snelen Teddy started 7 seasons ago.

When we look at the number of HLTV slot we can see that only aCh0e uses the 256 slots server and that Stampers is the only one using the 128 slots server. All other managers keep using their 192 slots. Prices in league and PCW games remain quite constant for every manager and there are still 3 managers playing 1337 without using 2D.

To conclude this article every manager was asked to give his top5 prediction for the end of the season. These are the results:

• Shindao - 30%
• Stoffer - 28%
• Zuttasoxx - 17%
• Dr. Cookz - 14%
• Kevintjaah - 5%
• Loder - 3%
• G-SuSs - 3%
• KeaRzooOCh' - 1%
  

Which comes quite close to the current standings.
