Congratulations to Blo0 for winning the 1st CSM champions league, and kirsch + nkt- for taking 2nd and 3rd.

This has been the 1st time in a while since we have got to see a final being played in 2dlive since the introduction of 2dlive and whilst no one seems to be in agreement over whether it should be there or not in the 1st place the final does highlight a much bigger problem for CSM. If you arn't aware MASSIVE » myw00t played the final with only 2 1st team regulars due to his rebuild. The champions league itself has been littered with teams rebuilding all throughout the competition but the fact that a team in the final would rather rebuild early to give himself a better team in the future rather than win what the SA's would want to become the #1 seasonal competition highlights a big flaw in the game. The game itself was decided before the start due to the lineups and so the only game of interest was the bronze game. Still however we don't know how seriously these 2 clans played, most likely playing with tactics neither would use regularly preferring not to show there hands before any important cup games.

A disappointing end to the competition, hopefully though it will show the developers what everyone else knows what needs to be done, a introduction of some kind of youth setup to make rebuilds a thing of the past
