After 5 1337-trophies, the Swedish star, g0riLLA, still keep himself at the top and hunts down his 6:th one. I got the privilege to interview this Swedish star.

Q1: First of all, gratz to the fantastic last 5 seasons in 1337.se! How does it feel too just earn a 1337-trophy after another?

Answer: Thx! :) Well ofc it feels good being able to continously staying in the top of the swedish divisons, but at the same time, I am not very satisfied with my results last 5 seasons. I think I could have done better, but at the same time its really close up in the top, so things like luck also affects the final outcome.

Q2: How do you manage to keep yourself at the top? When you look
at 1337.se it is always like;

3. dss
4. dss
5. dss

Answer: Well I guess just by keeping on having a good enough team I would be able to stay on the top. I mean as long as I can afford replacing my older players with trained younger ones I will be able to stay. And as the economical situation looks currently in CSM its honestly not really hard. I made a profit of almost 200k last season, hence I have no problem replacing players. But yeah, dss suxx. ;) (except hagelpump, Im still completely stunned in awe by his cup win over Spi)

Q3: Do you find it hard to keep yourself up at the top, due to dss-community, that is "up in you ass" or is it really a reminder to keep you taccs as good as possible and so on?

Answer: Well they dont really have any impact on me staying in the top, they just affect which of the ~4 first positions I get. Sometimes, when I get antied, I feel its hard, that I cant face two dss-opponents in a row playing with the same taccs, because then I lose. On the other hand, sometimtes I feel the older taccs I play, the better results I get. But yeah they are definately a pain in the ass. ;)

Q4: How would you evaluate your latest seasons, 24-26?

Answer: I think I could have played better in the leauge, except season 25 ofc when I won, while Im quite satisfied with my results internationally. I guess this has to do with that my swedish opponents know my taccs a lot better.

Q5: what goals do you have for season 28? Will you make some player changes, ect?

Answer: Winning the swedish leauge again, placing on the podium in either CL or wwt. I doubt that I will suceed with this though, but one must have ambitions. :)
Im changing players as we speak. I will probably try to never get 3x year old players, but it depends a lot on the transfer list situation and other things.

Q6: since you also are a member of Triad-community, I will just ask how it's going in the community, how you help each other, ect?

Answer: We always have a friendly athmosphare and nice discussions in our forums. We discuss player and economic strategies, as well as helping each other with taccs in our community FL. In my personal opinion, we are at our best during big competetions as wwt and CL in the end of seasons, when we cheer for each others and try to help each other with analyzing oponents and such. <3 Triad. :)

Q7: Since I did a interview with you about 6 seasons ago, I won’t ask you about hobbies, but if something has changed please be kind to tell us.

Answer: Hmm I guess my life is kind of similar to what it was last time you asked, guess my studies has become more.. intense though. I still manage to log in to CSM now and then! ;)

Q8: "And btw, did you know I train teamplay for my two best players atm? ;)" - Quote from you 6 seasons ago, how did it work out for the players? Did they work better together?

Answer: Well I did max out teamplay on my players as the 7th trained skill, but I really dont know whether it helped or not. Not saying it didnt help at all, it at least didnt help enough for me to notice. Now Im training creativity instead, just to try it out. :)

Q9: And once again, something you want to add for the reader’s interest?

Answer: Hmm I cant come up with anything special right now. I have been in a funny state of mind all since last thursday when I aged to 20. To much alcohol and too little sleep ever since, I think I need joolts to recover. :D

Hello all! :D Your favorite loudmouth American is back for another tasty edition of his world not so famous blog! It's been quite sometime since I blogged last so I guess I should hop right in!!

First off, I'd like to say SORRY for the lack of updates! Much like CSM... I've been taking a break somewhat, enjoying the weather and generally just kickin it with family. But also like CSM.. IM BACK and READY TO GO!

So the new Dev started today and is ALREADY spittin out updates!Not exactly sure when you guys will see them but it's pretty exciting... ITS ACTUALLY HERE!! wowowowowowowo I was still holding my breathe, thinking he might quit or something would go wrong but alas he is HERE and WORKING! Man I can't tell you how excited I am :D

In other news... the CL is winding down and there's a few nice articles that will be poppin up later today on your favorite site talking about them! Looks to be an interesting rest of the playoffs with some great matchups along the way... I for one can't wait to see them! :D

As far as my team goes.. well I'm selling a player to make room for some new fresh blood on my team. Still in 1st (lol duh) and with any luck, I'll finish there at the end of the season. This means a nice road to the CL next season and some more income! yayayayay!

So lets all celebrate the new developer and I want you guys to know that he IS working and as soon as I get some news of what and when, you guys will know!

The WB finals for each side are set and we have 2 really good matches to see this upcoming weekend! We are going to take an indepth look at all 4 teams in the WB and also peek into the losers brackets as well to get a better grasp at the Champions League 26! Chiming in today we also have guest predictors Amica from Faith and antioj18 from Pure to weigh in on who they think will win!

This is shaping up to be a GREAT match and one I wish I could watch for sure. Both of these teams are doing quite well this season and it’s pretty obvious by their meeting up in the ODD WB Finals. Matze had an easier road to the finals than SpInN, beating a rebuilding Zeppo in his first game then facing off vs. rahmkay and disposing of him 15-9 in the semi finals. SpInN had a much harder road, facing off vs. Aleex in the first round and squeaking by 14-10, then going to OT to beat moses in the semis 19-17. Looking at the quality of opponents, I think that SpInN has had a tougher road but I somehow believe that we may see matze pull this one out on d2 and take it 14-10.

Amicas prediction: Pretty much the same for matze (see moses) and he has been more convincing than Spinn

Antioj18 prediction: The other ODD match Matze vs SpinN im going to go with experience and pick matze to once again make his appearance in the Trophy rounds over SpinN.

Well we saw this coming like a heard of elephants… these two titans will clash once again in the WB finals of the EVEN bracket. These two faced off in their group earlier in this CL and SpiDevil won both meetings between the two teams. Not much has changed between the teams since those meetings and if kirsch doesn’t do something, we can expect more of the same on the scoreboard as these two meet again. While in the tougher bracket, both of these teams made short work of their opponents, kirsch posting 15-9 and 16-8 wins over arcane and g0rilla respectively while SpiDevil handed osi a 15-9 loss and the always tough Linde a 16-8 defeat. Look for a close game once again between these two but unless kirsch has a magic tact, expect to see SpiDevil win this one 13-11.

Amicas prediction: Spidevil has done well against kirsch in all of their matches and he is the champion (won it 5 times in a row) so Spi takes it.

Antioj18 prediction: For the game all eyes will be on kirsch vs spidevil its very close to call as there most recent matches have been so tight but i will have to pick kirsch this time since maybe its his time to win 13-11 ;p.

Ahh Kortex vs. moses.. another good game coming out of the ODD bracket. These two teams both have had some close, tough games, especially moses who lost in OT to SpInN in the semis to find himself here. Moses has also had to beat his comm mate janek twice to get to this point, which is no small feat. When I asked moses about the upcoming match, he had this to say; “hehe, im looking forward to see how Kortex's new dutch player will perform, as i planned on buying him.. i think it will be a nice match to watch and im glad i dont have to spend time on selecting and/or making tacz, as i wouldnt do such things vs Kortex because i <3 him.. so let's see”

As for kortex, he too has had a tough road to this point, losing in the first round to comm mate rahmkay 17-7 but then being able to defeat him later and find himself facing off against moses. When asked about his match vs. moses he had this to say... "I think moses is a good opponent, he have a powerfull team and he is a great manager, he will normaly win me , but with csm, all is possible ! Hope that i can make the surprise as challenger, but as i said before, normaly moses will win."

While this game should be close I have to give it to moses 15-9.

Amicas prediction: moses just seems to be the favorite in that match, primarily because he's done well in the tough German league

Antioj18 prediction: I'll start with the ODD sided bracket first and the match Kortex vs moses. I am going to have to go with Kortex over moses in this match since it seems Kortex is performing very well atm with 1st place 1337.fr and maybe time for him to get a trophy in CL.

Triad • wannabe vs. [ond] Faktory.dk

Here we have the losers bracket matchup between g0rilla and Linde in the EVEN side of things. Along with a renewed since of passion for the game and recent activity it seems in strats, Linde has to come in as the favorite in this match. He talked with us about the upcoming match saying “Well I'm sure it will be a nice game. g0rilla got an awesome team, and got a nice placement in 1337.swe. We haven't played against each other on a regular basis, so I don't really know what to expect. But I'm convinced it will be a very close game. And I'll just hope I will draw the longest straw. GL to all the other participants.”
His road to this spot has been a tough one though, losing to SpiDevil in a close game then having to beat osi in order to gain his spot here. For g0rilla, it’s been a rollercoaster ride, dominating mpi first then losing a seemingly uninteresting match vs kirsch 16-8. Then in a rematch vs. mpi, he won a much closer game to earn the right to face Linde here. g0rilla had this to say about his impending matchup vs. Linde; “well it will be an interesting game against Linde, I actually even checked the facts and last time I met him on aztec was S23 in the WWT-playoff. I lost 9-15, and if I remember it correctly I actually had my second best player on red fitness. So considering this it could be close, since my team is at least better now than it was back then. :) On the other hand.. Im incredibly low on aztec these days. Ill try to come up with something new for this game, but yeah I just doubt it will work.”

“My chances in total: 20/80 to win/lose.”

This may be the biggest defeat we see in this round as I think Linde just has too much for poor g0rilla and takes this one 16-8

Amicas prediction: Linde has been looking really good lately, also more active so he takes this one.

Antioj18 prediction: For the EVEN bracket matchups ill start with gorilla vs linde. Again i will have to side with experience on this one picking linde to make it to the next match knocking gorilla out.

With some great matches this upcoming week, this seasons CL is shaping up to be one of the better ones yet. While SpiDevil may be the favorite, kirsch, matze, moses and brother SpInN could all prove to be spoilers! Stay tuned to CSM-Times as we break it down for you each week :)
